Welcome to the 9th Annual Wahine Fest...A Multi-Cultural, Aloha Aina, Winter Solstice, Musical Event intended to Honor the Feminine Principle in every Man, Woman, Child and Place from Wai'ale'ale to Mauna a Wakea.  This festival is not for and about women but rather an opportunity to honor and celebrate the Mother in all as we birth the next chapter of true sustainability and real humanity together.  Musicians Charity Ann, Millicent Cummings, Kiah Abendroth, Maishi Lani and Love Tribe will be performing.  Also, dancers Malia Locey and Pua La'a along with Mime, Janet Carafe. Speakers on some of the most important topics for our island will be Councilwoman Felicia Alongi Cowden, Puanani Rogers, Hope Kallai, Rhoda Libre and Astrid Drolsen.  There will be education, comedy, keiki craft corner, kava ceremony, swap meet, potluck and 'Burning Woman' closing ceremony.  Come and learn about the Hui Hawai'i Aloha Aina O Wahine, mandatory vaccinations proposed for Kaua'i, Ahupua'a protocol and the crucial water issues of our island.  This Aloha filled event from 4 to 10 PM is free and open to the public of all ages at the Main Pavilion at Lydgate Park in Wailua, donations gratefully received for costs.  Hope to see you there, Friday, December 21st for Wahine Fest 2018.  Eo!  Aloha Nui!!!
